Luis Quiñones, 55, of Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021, with loved ones by his side.
Luis was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, to Rafaela Casiano and Juan Merced Quinones, the youngest of 6 children. In his teen years, he moved to New Hampshire.
Luis was a hard worker, although he had many interests, from cars to enjoying a delicious meal with friends, Luis's true happiness came from his family. Even when his health began to deteriorate, Luis was always there with a smile and a helping hand, drawing strength from his roles in life as father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Luis is survived by his children, Amanda Burley Quiñones and Luis Burley Quiñones of Manchester, NH, and Jacquelyn Quiñones of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren Alyssa, Jaylynn, Amaya, Julizah, Jomar and Chase, siblings, William, Victor, Fèlix and Ana; and many more loving nieces, nephews and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Josè and Angel, and is now happily reunited with his beloved grandson, Jaquan Harkins, who passed suddenly in 2019 from his own health conditions.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 6:00 â 7:00 PM at Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 PM in the chapel. Please note current restrictions limiting funeral home capacity to no more than 50%. Those in attendance are respectfully requested to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
