Luke J.
Porter
Jul 30, 1981 — Jun 25, 2026
Luke James Porter, 44, of Lebanon, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Born on July 30, 1981, in Manchester, Connecticut, Luke was the son of Lowrie James Porter III and Nancy Lynn Morin.
Luke was a skilled contractor with a remarkable ability to fix just about anything. Creative by nature, he enjoyed drawing, painting, and working with his hands. He was known for his resilience, strong work ethic, and his ability to keep moving forward through life’s challenges. Luke also had a deep compassion for others and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. A man of faith, he carried his belief in God throughout his life and found strength in that faith.
Luke had a lifelong love of the outdoors, which began with many childhood camping trips and hikes and continued into adulthood. He especially enjoyed canoeing, fishing, and spending time by the water with his beloved dog, Milo by his side. Whether around a campfire, on a trail, or out on the water, Luke found peace in the natural world.
In addition to his parents, Luke is survived by his daughter, Autumn Christensen, of Somersworth; his grandchildren, Ronan and Piper; his sister, Melissa Christensen and her husband, James, of Canterbury; his brother, Eric Porter and his wife, Cari, of Milford; eight nephews, three nieces, one great-nephew; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Jason Doran.
Luke will be remembered for his talents, his kindness, and the love he had for his family, friends, and the outdoors.
A celebration of life will be held by his loved ones at a later date.
