Lynne H. Hersey
Lynne Helena Quimby-Hersey, 65, passed away unexpectedly with her family by her side on Friday February 19, 2021 in Concord NH. She was born on January 21, 1956 in Manchester New Hampshire, daughter of Lyle and Mary Quimby.
Lynne was a graduate of the West High School class of 1974. Throughout her life she lived in Manchester, Goffstown, Dunbarton and Concord NH, but always loved where she grew up in Manchester. Lynne worked different jobs over her lifetime, but her favorite was Janet's Donuts.
She was a kindhearted woman who loved her family, friends, and animals. She would watch the birds at her bird feeder and would always leave a little something at her back door for the furry critters of the night. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren especially, who made her smile so much.
She is survived by her daughter Hidi Insana and her husband Joseph Insana, her son Stephen Hersey and his wife Patricia Hersey, her son Alan Hersey and his significant other Samantha Hubbard, her 7 grandchildren James, Anthony, Brad, Addisyn, Sophia, Maggie and Natalie, sister Leslie Spaulding her children, brother Lyle Quimby, brother Leander Quimby and his wife Ruth Quimby and their children.
Lynne was loved by her family and friends and will be missed greatly.
Her funeral service will held at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street Manchester NH on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 11am-1pm with a private burial at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester NH. A celebration of life will be held at a later date when it is safe to do so.
