Maggie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren who appreciated her sassiness and kind heart and often referred to her as being ‘so fancy’. She adored her daughters and was proud of all of them. She cherished her time with family, loved the holidays, especially Christmas Eve and treasured the sleepovers at her home. She enjoyed the beach, cookouts & gatherings, camping, card games, back in the day and more recently you could find her propped up on her recliner with a sombrero and crossword puzzle in hand while watching Crime Dramas, AGT or Dancing with the Stars. And yes, she loved to dance too and outshined anyone brave enough to get on the floor with her. Other programs she enjoyed were General hospital, game shows, HGTV and loved the Red Sox.
Before marriage she worked at Lowell Lingerie as a garment trimmer and left that to start a family. After raising her children, she re-entered the garment industry and was employed with Newnet for a few years before leaving to help support a family business where she stayed until the business dissolved. Maggie then went on to work for Raytheon Corporation. She worked there for 13 years as an assembler in the motor wind department until she chose to retire in 1996.
She spent the majority of her later years by her husband’s side caring for him right up to his passing in May. She was a selfless person, always putting others before her needs. She was beloved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her family and friends and especially by Maggie (her cat).
