Magella “Midge” (Forcier) Ravenelle, 95, died peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH.  She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Ravenelle with whom she shared 49 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1999.

Midge was born in Nashua, NH on September 1, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Emmerentienne (Corriveau) Forcier.  She was educated in Nashua and was a lifelong resident of Nashua.

Along with taking care of her loving family, she worked at Miller’s Department Store and Nashua Memorial Hospital as an OB nurse’s aide then later followed by the main receptionist. In her free time, she loved sewing and making crafts, as well as, a good yard sale and casino. The family spent many summers at Wells Beach and later she and Leo were “snow birds” in Florida. They both loved to travel the world.

Midge is survived by her four children, her daughters, Linda Dovidio and her husband Jack of Coventry, Ct; Claudia Dionne and her husband David of Nashua; her son, Mark Ravenelle and his partner Bonnie Sullivan of Merrimack; and her daughter, Lisa Anagnost and her husband Matthew of Nashua.

She is also survived by her six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Janile Ravenelle; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Leo, she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Leo Lancourt; brother and sister-in-law, Gerard and Marion Forcier; and brother-in-law Roland Ravenelle.

At the request of Midge’s family a private service is planned.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Midge’s name to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054 for their dedication in end of life care.
