Malvern Edward Tasker, Jr., 63, of Sanbornton, NH died Tuesday January 20, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Manchester.
He was born on December 13, 1945 in Waltham, MA the son of the late Malvern E. Tasker Sr. and Elinor (Spencer) Tasker. He was raised in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School.
After completing his schooling, he joined the US Army and served in the Vietnam War.
He worked as an engineer for Raytheon in Waltham, MA and Santa Barbara before he retired in the mid 1990âs. He later ran his own business Pool Cues from his home in Sanbornton.
Malvern enjoyed all aspects of billiards. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and dealing cards.
He is survived by his two sons, Brian Tasker of Salem, NH and Blake Tasker of Salem, NH; daughter, Rachel Tasker of Salem, MA, two grandchildren and his sister, Carol Anderson of Amherst, NH.
His committal service with military honors will be held in the NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen on Friday January 30th at 11:00AM.
