Marcel Therrien

Marcel R. Therrien, 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on November 15, 1937 in Lewiston, Maine, he is the son of the late George Therrien and Rhenda Vallee. Raised and educated in Lewiston, Marcel graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of 1954. This same year, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps, where he served for four years. Marcel married Patricia in 1984 and they made Allenstown, NH their home. For 22 years, Marcel worked at Malden Mills in Lawrence and Voltek in South Lawrence for 5 years until his retirement in 2004.

In addition to his parents, Marcel was predeceased by his two daughters, Maureen McQuinn and Michelle Stanwood Hernandez; seven brothers; and three sisters. Marcel is survived by his wife, Patricia Therrien; his five children, Mike Wilson and partner Jay, James Lavigne and wife Stacey, Richard Lavigne and wife Donna, Tina Baker and husband Troy, and Tara Todd and husband Mark; sister, Marie Milliken; two brothers, Lucien Doyon and Ronald Bolduc; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
