Marcel R. Turcotte Lifelong Nashua Resident, retired from Ingersol Rand after 40 Years Marcel R. Turcotte, 78, of 75 Blossom Street, Nashua died Tuesday morning, December 19, 2000, at his home following a long illness. He was born in Nashua, NH on February 28, 1922, the son of the late Philemon and Angelina (Girourard) Turcotte. A lifelong resident of Nashua he made his home at 75 Blossom Street. He was a retired machinist from Ingersol Rand (formerly Improved Paper Machinery Co) after 40 years of service. Marcel from a W.W. II Navy Veteran and was a graduate of Nashua High School Class of 1941. He enjoyed woodworking, hockey, bowling, listening to nighttime radio talk shows and being with his family. Family members include his wife of 55 years Margaret L. (Primus) Turcotte of Nashua, two daughters Mrs. Raymond R. (Linda J.) LeBrun of Nashua and Mrs. James W. (Darlene A.) Deckman III of Milford, one son Daniel R. Turcotte of Nashua, ten grandchildren; Christopher R. Cates, Timothy A. Cates, Angela Marquis, Scott P. Lacasse, Melissa Turcotte, Daniel R. Turcotte, Jr., Tiffany M. Turcotte, Kathi Geddes, Debra Soucy and Jenn LeBrun, several great grandchidlren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers, Romeo, Rosaire and Gerard Turcotte and two sisters Carmen (Turcotte) Morency and Andrea Turcottte. SERVICES: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, December 22nd at 10 o'clock in St. Joseph Church, Lake St., Nashua. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge or arrangements.
