Margaret G. Driscoll, age 70, of Old Dover Road, Rochester, New Hampshire, died after a long illness on May 1 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital. Formerly of New Britain Ave., Newington, CT, and more recently of Rochester, NH, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary (Crawford) Galbraith. She was a loving mother and wife. She graduated from Newington High School. She had been a Girl Scout leader, active in Rainbow Girls, a Cub Scout den mother, and an active volunteer in the Newington, CT, school system. She worked many years in the clerical field. Her loves were fishing, bird watching, reading, and spoiling her grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Ronald G. Driscoll, of Rochester, NH; two daughters, Lynn Boorman and husband James, of Newington, CT, and Lori LaBranche of Rochester, NH; and a son, Scott Driscoll and wife Bonnie, of South Windsor, CT. She is also survived by five beloved grandchildren: Ryan and Stephanie Boorman of Newington, CT; Kyle LaBranche of Rochester, NH; Tyler and Amber Driscoll of South Windsor, CT; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Alexander Galbraith. A memorial service will be held at Stanley Memorial Church, 639 East St., New Britain, CT, on Tuesday, May 7, at 7 PM.
