Margaret Laws (Flaherty), 77, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Raised in Boston, Massachusetts, by her parents John and Margaret Flaherty, she later made her home in Bristol, New Hampshire, where she worked at Freudenberg-NOK for 30 years before retiring.

Margaret found joy in life's simple pleasures. She was an avid reader, loved listening to music, and held a special place in her heart for German Shepherds—especially her cherished dog, Ireland. She was happiest surrounded by family, never missed a chance to enjoy a good dessert, and was always one of the first on the dance floor with her sisters at family weddings. She also loved going to lunch with her friends and her sisters.

She is survived by her children, Karen (Husband Jason), William (Wife Amanda), Brian, and Walter (Wife Kristin); her grandchildren, Steven, Emily, Neil, Hannah, Isabella, Samantha, Zachary, and Juliet; her great-granddaughter, Marlee; her three sisters, Carol, Joan (Husband Buddy), and Mary (Husband Bill); and many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on September 19, 2026, at Our Lady of Grace Chapel, 2 W Shore Rd, Bristol, NH 03222.

In honor of Margaret’s life and passions, memorial donations may be made to the NH Humane Society in Laconia, NH, or to the Minot-Sleeper Library in Bristol, NH.
