Margaret E. Perkins

May 5, 1954 — March 14, 2024

Berwick, ME

Margaret “Peggy” Elizabeth Perkins, age 69, of Berwick, ME, went on to be with our Lord on March 14, 2024, after a battle with Ovarian Can-cer.

Peggy was born on May 5, 1954, in Wolfeboro, NH, to Charlotte and Roger Lessard. She grew up in Middleton, NH, and spent her summers at her grandparents' riding stable in Old Orchard, ME, where she gave riding lessons and tours. She had a love for horses, gardening, and cruising over the years.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father Roger “Beanie” Lessard; her grandmother Maude Shapleigh; her stepson Jason Perkins; and her best friend Alice Thurston. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Daniel Perkins; their dog Jetta; daughters Michelle Emerson and Mandy Brooks; stepchildren Deana Lapierre and Justin Perkins; mother Charlotte Lessard; siblings Leslie Packard, Sue Sherwood and Brian Lessard; as well as many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and several friends she made over the years. She will greatly be missed by so many.

The family would like to thank the staff at WDH and Cornerstone Hospice for the wonderful care she received. At Peggy's request, there will be no services. The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date. In Lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to The Seacoast Cancer Center in Dover, NH. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting with arrangements. To view the online memorial, leave a message of condolence, or for more information please visit https://csnh.com/
