Marguerite I. Babbitt

Marguerite I. Babbitt, 95, of Charlestown, died December 24, 2003 at home. She was born February 11, 1908 in Keene, NH, daughter of the late Fredrick L. and Emma (Harper) Bushey. Mrs. Babbitt married Joseph I. Babbitt on May 30, 1926 and were married for over 63 years. They lived in Charlestown, NH for over 68 years. Her husband preceded her in death in 1988. She was also predeceased by a son, Lawrence who died in 1986. She is survived by; one son Lynwood Babbitt of Charlestown, NH and his wife, Lillian; 3 granddaughters, Marie Lumbra and Nancy Russell both of Charlestown, NH and Pamela Babbitt of Boardman, OH; 7 great-grandchildren; and one great, great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. There will be no services. Any donations can go to VNA of Charlestown, NH or St. Catherine's Church of Charlestown, NH.
