Marie Drapeau

Marie "Jeanne" Drapeau, 53, of Rochester died October 7, 2003 at her home after a nine month bout with cancer. Mrs. Drapeau was born on October 22, 1949 in Dover the daughter of the late Raymond and Jeannette (Ruest) Plante. She attended McIntosh College where she received a degree in accounting and later went on to work as an accountant for Horn Construction. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle and working on her computer. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Family members include; her husband, Victor L. Drapeau or Rochester; daughter, Faith & Robert Austin of Middleton, a daughter Laurie & Larry Lee of Middleton; son, Harold & Becky Danforth of Union, daughter, Angela & Carl Hansen of New York, stepsons, the late Victor L Drapeau III, Rene Drapeau of Lebanon ME, Ryan Drapeau of Lebanon ME and Vinnie Drapeau of Somersworth; many grandchildren; brothers, Raymond & Bernice Plante of Montana, Ronald & Joyce Plante of Rollinsford, Alphonse & Cheryl Plante of Rochester, Paul & Deborah Plante of Somersworth, Gerard Plante of Milton, George & Teri Plante of Stratham, Marc Plante of Rochester, Robert & Cathy Plante of Farmington, Norman & Robin Plante of Concord; sister, Elaine & Wayne Brackett of Rollinsford; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 11th at 10:00 AM at Saint Charles Church, 577 Central Avenue in Dover with burial to follow at Saint Charles Cemetery.
