Marion L. Bettez

LONDONDERRY - Marion L. (Sconsa) Bettez died March 17, 2007 in Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH, after a long illness. In Her Life: She was born in Manchester, NH, to Charles and Bernice (McDonald) Sconsa. Marion worked for over 20 years at J.F. McElwin, where she met her husband, Don Bettez. She also worked in the Deli Department of Ferretti’s Supermarket and at Zayre’s Department Store, as a Clerk. Marion wed in 1957 to Don Bettez. They both resided in Manchester until 1976 when they moved to Londonderry, where they have resided since. Marion and Don just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in February. Family includes her husband, Donald; daughter Deborah Proulx; son-in-law, Robert Proulx; two sisters, Charlotte (Sconsa) Stefanelli; Margaret “Peggy” (Sconsa) Tsetseranos, and one brother, William Sconsa, and three pre-deceased brothers, John “Sonny” Sconsa, Harry Sconsa and Charles Sconsa, as well as many nieces and nephews. I private committal service will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make any contributions to either the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. The Cremation Society of NH is in charge of arrangements.
