Marion P. Jenisch

Marion Jenisch, 96, of Epsom NH and formerly of Barnstead NH, died Friday, September 13 at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH after a period of failing health. She was born on August 12, 1906 in Pittsfield NH and was the daughter of the late Alice and Edward H. Park. Marion was an avid gardener, loved poetry and could recite at length from the works of various poets. She and her husband were founding members of the NH Rose Society and enjoyed raising and showing their roses. She was also a member of the Audabon Society and enjoyed the out of doors. She was a gifted cook and enjoyed a lifetime of many gatherings with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 63 years William Jenisch of Epsom NH, two sons, William P Jenisch of Hancock NH and Douglas Jenisch of Corinth VT, three grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters, Ardrea Spencer of Concord NH and Arlene Rich of Omaha Nebraska. She was predeceased by one sister, Virginia Meader. There will be a memorial service for family and friends at Riverview Cemetery in Barnstead, NH on Thursday morning, September 19, 2002 at 11 o'clock.
