Marion (Murcko) Kruse, 84, passed away on October 18, 2024 at her home in Manchester, NH. She was born on January 29, 1940, in Peckville, PA, daughter of Peter and Mary Murcko.
Though born in Peckville, her family moved to Binghamton, NY, when she was just two years old. There she attended Binghamton Central high school and met her husband, John F Kruse PhD, whom she married on July 15, 1961. Later in life, they moved to Poughkeepsie, NY, to raise their 3 children John, Mary, and Kenneth. After 30 years in Poughkeepsie, they moved up to Manchester, NH, to be closer to family.
Marion had a passion for the arts and learning as she enjoyed painting along with attending art history classes at the University of New Paltz.
She was an avid reader, often found sitting in the sun with her nose in a mystery novel and a cup of her favorite tea, accompanied by one of her beloved dogs. Marion enjoyed long walks with her husband and dog(s), taking moments to appreciate the vibrant colors of foliage in the fall and her intricate gardens and flowers in the spring/summer.
