Marion G. Paula

LITTLETON, NH – Marion G. Paula, 89, passed away on February 10, 2015, after a brief illness with her family by her side.

Marion was born on June 17, 1925, a daughter to Arthur and Anna (Brunelle) Stinchfield in Littleton, NH. She graduated from St. Rose of Lima Catholic School and moved to Worcester, MA with her family soon thereafter.

She returned to Littleton, where she resided for the majority of her lifetime and raised her family. She was referred to as "Ma" by the neighborhood kids and friends of her children. Over the years Marion worked for Peckett's in Sugar Hill, Donovan's Nursing Home, laced shoes for Henschel's Shoe, provided private cleanings for area families, and did private laundry services from her home.

Marion enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and Professional Golf, with Tiger Woods being her favorite golfer. She enjoyed gardening, starting her flowers from seeds, and was an expert in completing crossword puzzles. Her family always came first and she enjoyed any and all occasions to be together for special celebrations, holidays or just spending time with them. She had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed all the simple things in life and was a very generous and giving person. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, friend and acquaintance, she will be missed dearly by many.

Surviving family members include her children, Ron and Cindy Paula of Littleton, NH, Arlene Andrews of Freeport, ME, and Sue and Todd Pillsbury of Littleton, NH; her grandchildren, Casey Pillsbury (her Boy) of Carroll, NH, Kyla Pillsbury (her Princess) of Andover, NH; Travis and Heidi Andrews of VT, Mindi and Tommy Slone of FL, John and Colleen Scott, and Jamie and Alicia Scott all of CA; her great-grandchildren, Connor Pillsbury of Carroll, NH, Ryan, Olivia and William Andrews of VT, Jordyn Slone of FL, and Aeriel and Eva Scott of CA; her little dog, Sammi; her sister, Arlene Black her brother, Norman and Marion Stinchfield all of MA; numerous special nieces, nephews and extended friends and family. She also leaves "Mrs. Mcguillicudy" to her granddaughter, Kyla. She is predeceased by her parents, one brother, four sisters, her nephew, Mike Stinchfield, who was like a son to her, and most recently, her son-in-law, Terry Andrews.

SERVICES – A Celebration of Marion's life will be held on what would have been her 90th birthday on June 17th, 2015 at a time and place to be announced. Her children request that everyone wear something purple to share Marion's favorite color.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Riverside Rescue, Inc., 236 Riverside Avenue, Lunenburg, VT 05906 or Second Chance Animal Rescue, 1517 Meadow Street, Littleton, NH 03561.
