Marjorie L. (Charpentier) (Piroso) Clarke

Marjorie L. (Charpentier)(Piroso) Clarke, age 88 (1935-2023), of Hopkinton N.H., died peacefully at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord on April 19, 2023.

Marjorie was born on April 14, 1935, daughter of Arseen and Bernice Charpentier of Concord.

Marjorie grew up in Concord and attended Saint John's school.

In 1955 she married Arthur Guy Piroso and had three boys, Alan, William and Brian. Marjorie worked at the NH State Hospital for five years before caring for children in her own home. Later in life she worked at Saint Paul’s School for eleven years. After thirty-three years of marriage, Arthur passed away in 1988.

In 2004, Marjorie then Married Raymond Clarke. Marjorie and Raymond were Married for a happy twenty years before Raymond had passed in 2014.

Marjorie enjoyed going to casinos and playing the slot machines. She was known to send Birthday cards to her neighbors' weather she knew them or not. She was a person that was well liked, and she liked making people laugh. She loved her cat Molly and enjoyed life in general.

Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Raymond Clarke of Bow and her son William G. Piroso of Ft. Lauderdale Fl.

Marjorie leaves behind two sons, Alan Piroso and his wife Faith of Warner and Brian Piroso of Warner; a stepdaughter, Fran Ordway of Bradford N.H.; two sisters, Joyce Audet of Concord and Mary Cutting and her husband Fred of Concord; her sister-in-laws, Florence Grove of Andover, Kathy' O’Shea of Hudson, Fl, and Jackie Gagne of Port Richie Fl; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

SERVICES: A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Cremation Society of NH, 172 King Street in Boscawen on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 12 – 1pm, with a Memorial Service immediately following, 1pm, at the Funeral Home.  Interment Prayers and burial will be at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord following the service.
