Marjorie Elaine Morse

In Loving Memory of Elaine Morse Elaine Morse – 3/7/2025.

Elaine, a devoted mother, a passionate traveler, and a kind-hearted soul, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She was a woman of strength, compassion, and unwavering love, whose legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

As a single mother, she dedicated her life to her beloved son, Richard Winget, working tirelessly—often holding two jobs—to provide him with the best opportunities. Her journey took her across the country in search of a brighter future, always putting his well-being before her own.

Her career as a travel agent was a reflection of her adventurous spirit. She explored the world, visiting Europe and Southeast Asia, embracing different cultures and experiences. Later in life, she also shared her knowledge as a teacher, touching the lives of many with her wisdom and warmth.

She had a deep appreciation for classic movies and antiques, often finding beauty in the past while embracing the possibilities of the future. Her compassionate nature, honesty, and selflessness made her a friend to many and a light in the lives she touched.

She is survived by her loving son, Richard Winget, and his wife, Jessica Winget; her cherished grandsons, Elias and Richie; and her dear sisters, Brenda Morse and Carolyn Morse, and brother Thomas Morse. Though she is no longer with us, her love, kindness, and indomitable spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate to know her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in her honor.
