Marjorie Davis Shaw, 83, of 2 Cheney Lane, Plaistow, NH, died February 28, 2005, at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Massachusetts after a long illness. She was born in Plaistow, NH, on January 14, 1922, the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Rumery) Davis and had been a lifelong resident of Plaistow. She was the widow of Elmer Shaw who died 31 years ago. Marjorie was a Registered Nurse at Hale Hospital, Haverhill, MA., for 38 years. She was a member of the Ladies Social Circle at First Baptist Church and was Past President of the Triangle Guild of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Shaw was past Chief Pithien Sisters Trinity Temple Number 17 of Plaitow. She was a long time member of the GEM Bowling League. Family members include two daughters; Mrs. Bruce (Deborah) Taylor of Freedom, NH and Rebecca Schosser of Plaistow, NH, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister, Lois Lacroix of Plaistow, NH, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no callings hours. Relatives and friends are welcomed to attend a memorial service for Mrs. Shaw on Saturday afternoon at 2 O’Clock in the First Baptist Church, Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101 or to the First Baptist Church, Main Street.
