Marjorie M. Virginia, 79, of West Lebanon died March 22, 2004 at Hanover Terrace following a lengthy illness. Marjorie Virginia was born on August 6, 1924 in Burlington, VT the daughter of the late Earl and Thelma (Ross) Myatt. She graduated from Nottingham High School and was married to William A. Virginia in 1947. She spent much of her life in Syracuse, NY, moved to Southern California for several years, and then returned to Syracuse to live with family. Marjorie had spent the last two years at Quail Hollow in West Lebanon, NH. She had a deep love for opera and classical music, animals, and walking. She is fondly remembered for her ability to make friends and engage strangers in conversation. She was an active member of St. Albans Episcopal Church in Syracuse and enjoyed volunteer work for Meals on Wheels and Habitat for Humanity. Family members include; two sons, Ross A. Virginia of Norwich, VT and Richard B. Virginia of La Quinta, CA; one daughter, Katherine A. Burnett of Orange, CA; four grandchildren; one brother, George Myatt of East Syracuse; and many nieces and nephews. A service of remembrance will be held at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Norwich, VT. on Saturday March 27th at 1:00pm. A memorial service will take place at a later date in Syracuse, NY. The Cremation Society of New Hampshire is in charge of arrangements.
