MARK P. AVERY Hancock man, 38, had a passion for music HANCOCK Mark P. Avery, 38, of 82 Peterborough Road, Hancock died August 31, 2002 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital following a lengthy battle with cancer. Born July 24, 1964, in Peterborough, NH he was the son of Judith Avery-Dunning and Phillip and Ann Avery. Family members include his daughter, Kara; a brother, Eric Dunning; step-father, Dennis Dunning; grandmother, Dorothy Avery; aunt & uncle, George & Becky Lohmiller; step-brother, Joshua Rochford; step-sister, Julie Dunning and cousins. A life long resident of the Monadnock area, Mark shared his passion for music with all who knew and loved him. A talented guitarist, he played lead guitar with several local rock groups over the years. His knowledge and love of music will forever be remembered. Private burial services will be held at Norway Plains Cemetery, Hancock, NH. A memorial celebration of Marks life and music will be held for friends & family on September 14, 2002 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at his home on 82 Peterborough Rd, Hancock, NH.
