Listen to Obituary

Mark David Beroney died October 5, 2025. Born May 13, 1972, to Suzanne (Cleary) and Thomas Beroney in Manchester, NH. He loved visiting the city, but most of his heart was in his rural town of New Boston, where he lived for the last 30 years. Later sharing his love of the town with his best friend and wife, Cassi (Boissonnault) of 16 years and raised their blended family of four children and two dogs.

In 2015, he co-founded and managed Atlantic Prefab, Inc. where he thrived on leading designs, directing operations and sales. After selling the company with his partner in 2020, Mark tried his hand at sales of construction and building components but decided he needed to get back to creating and designing. With a new partner, he started up Eastern Offsite Solutions and was looking forward to get back to doing what he loved most.

Mark’s accomplished career of designing light gauge steel trusses and prefab wall panels gave him the opportunity to travel throughout the US and outside the country. Many of his projects being in the seacoast area and southern Maine. His wife and children would often get what they lovingly refer to as the “Mark Beroney, I did that roof tour” on family outings. Anywhere they went, Mark knew someone and if he didn’t, usually left with a new friendship.

Mark could often be found outside, doing projects around his house and yard, sitting beside or paddling around the little pond located on the backside of their property, “neighbor fishing” or sitting by a campfire with his best friends. He cherished his Dane Road family and felt lucky to know many of his neighbors. He loved working in the little woodshop he set up in the basement; his latest hobby was making signs for family & friends with his CNC machine.

The pride in building his company came second to the pride and love he felt for his family and close friends. Often visiting his family of Aunt, Uncles and cousins in the north country town of Milan, NH, which held the other piece of Mark’s heart.

Over the last four years, Mark struggled with managing his mental health and suffered severe depression. He made attempts to overcome his feelings of hopelessness but eventually succumbed to them and chose to end his life near his favorite fishing spot of Scoby Pond.

Mark is survived by his mother, Sue, wife, Cassi, children, Sarrah and Kyle Beroney (Autumn Normand), David, Jr. (Chloe) and Allyson Deschenes. Aunt Karen (Al) Cayoutte, Uncle Elmer Lang, Aunt Martha (Angelo) Manni, cousins Mike (Nicole, Jack, Avery & Remi), Randy (Julie, Cole & Ryder) Manni, Kari (Neil, Ben & Mallory ) Hayward, David (Cindy, Jacob, Cassidy & Garret) and Doug (Lillian & Kyleigh) Lang, and Phil (Hayley, Dakota, Arianna, Madison & Ryleigh) Beroney. In-laws Dave & Kellie-Sue Boissonnault, Bambi-Jean (James, Trey & Chloe) Abbott, David, Jr. (Linda, Samuel, Allie, Cooper & Ella) Boissonnault, Amanda (Robert, Josie & Lucy) MacDonald and Jamie Boissonnault. And beloved grandsons, Iverin Beroney and Jacob Deschenes.

He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Beroney.
