Mark S. Hayes, age 61, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at home, on March 18, 2025, after a valiant battle with brain cancer. Mark grew up in Pelham, New Hampshire, and lived in Nashua for many years. Mark graduated from Pelham High School and the New England School of Technology. Mark was an exceptional husband and father that enjoyed playing the guitar, reading books, being outdoors and spending time with his family. He was employed for many years as an electronic technician at Teledyne-Fir in Hudson, New Hampshire. He will be remembered for his humor, his passion for music, the great all around guy that he was, and most of all, his devotion to his family. His upbeat personality and sense of humor attracted many friends and kept his family entertained throughout the years. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his devoted wife Barbara Dianne (Buxton) Hayes of Dracut, Massachusetts. Daughters Kali Hayes, Saya Hayes, and Isabella Hayes of Nashua. Mark was one of three children, with brothers Scot and Lee, born to Arthur Hayes and the late Beverly (Fox) Hayes of Pelham. Nieces and nephews Justin Hayes, Kylie (Hayes) Scoggins, Tori Hayes, Jesse Hayes and Trevor Hayes, mother in-law Carol (Gillis) Hayes, and sister in-law Mary Hayes. Barbara’s parents Carol and Michael Buxton, and William and Gretchen Buxton. Barbara’s brother Todd and his wife Robin Buxton, brother Evan and his wife Nicole Buxton, and sister Julie Buxton and her boyfriend John Cotner. Barbara’s nephew Christian Ramos and niece Abbey Dellolio. Many friends and cousins.
At the request of Mark, a Mercy Meal for relatives and friends will be scheduled in the near future.
