Marshall Edwin Sheetz

Marshall Edwin Sheetz 68, of Pembroke, passed away on June 27th. He was born in Concord, on July 2, 1946, son of the late Elwood Phillip and Sophia (Chwazik) Sheetz. He was the beloved husband of the late Whanitta (Parry) Sheetz, and loving father of the late Kerk Dudley, Joffa Raymand and Mark of Epsom, Karyn Madore and Anthony of Pembroke and Buffi Dudley of Pembroke and her fiancé, Andrew Buckley. He was the devoted grandfather of 10 grandchildren: Mariette, Kerk, Danielle, Aaron, Mark, Madison, Andrew, Conner, Ryan, and Alex. He was the brother of the late Elwood Paul Sheetz. His many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends will miss his wonderful hospitality, sense of humor and just plain love. He and the late Elwood Paul Sheetz will remain in the heart of his sister, Sandra Abbott of Nashua, as her beloved brothers.
Marshall graduated from Pembroke Academy, in Pembroke, and soon after entered the US Army. After leaving the Army, Marshall took over his father's pet shops. When these were closed, he worked for an insurance business, and then owned and operated, with Whanitta, M & W Seafood restaurants. During most of these years, with Whanitta by his side, and to the time of his passing, he managed the present Sheetz Properties and Maple Grove Park campground in Pembroke, NH.
Marshall traveled all through Europe enjoying many adventures with his sister, niece and nephew: Sandra,Pam, and Jeff. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, skiing, cooking and just hanging out with family. Over the past few years he and Whanitta spent many hours on their boat fishing and lobstering.
Marshall was a member of the Moose Club and the American Legion, Post 28. He was a proud American, always ready to listen and talk with fellow veterans.
Marshall will remain forever in all our hearts...until we meet again.

Burial arrangements will be announced, most likely to take place in August. There will be more information to follow.
