Martha Lois Duncan Handy

Martha Lois Duncan Handy, 75, of 161 Bridge Street, Milford died on December 15, 2000 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua after a short illness. Mrs. Handy was born on August 11, 1925 in East Ryegate, Vermont, the daughter of the late Asa and Etta May (Pike) Duncan. She spent 35 years in Amherst on Mac Hill Road. She graduated form Wells River High School in Wells River, NH. Mrs. Handy was a manager for A T & T in Cleveland, Ohio and Concord, NH and then proudly became a homemaker. Family members include; one daughter, Beth A. Handy of Milford, NH; one son, Duncan Belno Handy of Norfolk, Virg.; one granddaughter, Amandaleigh Armiger of Abiliene, Texas; one sister, Ethelynd A. Page of Contoocook; and one niece. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald A. Handy, in 1977 and one daughter, Bonnie-Lee Handy in 1957. A reception will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2000 at Elisha's Restaurant, 2nd Floor, in Milford from 5 PM to 10:00 PM.
