Martha "Marty" Spragia

Martha ("Marty") Spragia passed away November 28, 2024 at Genesis Keene Center in Keene, NH, due to multiple sclerosis.

Marty moved to the Keene, NH area in 1983, and shortly thereafter secured a job in the business office at Monadnock Family Services.
In the mid-80's Marty founded a "safe" coming-out-organization for women in the Monadnock area. Monadnock Area Womyn (MAW). Some of the accomplishments can be seen in the MAW scrapbook in the library at the U.U. Church on Washington Street in Keene, NH.

Marty was predeceased by her parents, John and Barbara Spragia, Elkhorn, WI; Libby Hommen, Elkhorn, WI; Wendy Wiegan and Natalie Wiegan, Madison, WI.

Marty is survived by her sisters, Lynn Spragia, Palm Harboor, FL., Sandy Spragia, Oceanside, CA; Mary and (Don) Thums, Elkhorn, WI; Marty's brother, Mike and (Lois) Spragia, Elkhorn, WI. Marty is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements were handled by The Cremation Society of NH. A Celebration of Life for Marty, will be held in WI at a future date.
