Martin Louis Johnson

Martin Louis Johnson, 87, of Meredith died suddenly on June 3, 2004 at Lakes Region General Hospital. Mr. Johnson was born on April 17, 1917 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, the son of the late Charles and Hattie (Bunker) Johnson. He was a WWII Merchant Marines Veteran. He worked for Texas Instruments in Attleboro, MA as a heat treater. Mr. Johnson enjoyed bird watching and gardening. His family members include; one daughter, Diane Smith of Amherst, Ma; two grandchildren, Heidi Richard of E. Hampton and Gregory Smith of Amherst; Ma., two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Haley Richard of E. Hampton, Ma., two brothers, Warren Johnson of Beverly, MA and Frank Johnson of Attleboro Falls, MA; one sister, Harriet Lake of Attleboro, MA; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Johnson was predeceased by his wife, Virginia (Fuller) Johnson who died on April 19, 2000. Memorial services will be private. Interment will be held at the N.H. State Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
