Mary M. Drouin

Mary M. Drouin, 84, of Contoocook died December 17, 2003 at Concord Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs.Drouin was born on August 30, 1919 in Berlin, NH the daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret (Cropley) MacLean. She was raised in Berlin and graduated form Berlin High School in 1936. She retired from the State Of NH Division of Welfare as a case technician. She and her late husband, Edward Drouin who died in 1993, ran an antique shop in Gorham before moving to Contoocook in the mid 1980's. She enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and playing card games with her friends. Family members include; one daughter, Mary Ann Murphy of Contoocook; one granddaughter, Heather Chase of Concord; one great granddaughter, Elizabeth Chase; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 12:30 PM at St. Andrew church in Hopkinton.
