Mary Patricia (Tricia) Gabrick

Laconia NH - Mary Patricia (Tricia) Gabrick of Laconia, 68, died suddenly after a fatal fall on August 6, 2021.

Tricia was the daughter of the late Mary and Stephen Gabrick and the step daughter of the late Marguerite Gabrick and was also predeceased by two brothers Stephen and James Gabrick.

Tricia spent her formative years in Boston, MA, then moving to New Hampshire in 1982. She worked at several jobs in New Hampshire before pursuing her real passion, nursing. She earned her LPN License in 1996 and then furthered her education and became a Registered Nurse in 2001. She retired from the Laconia Regional General Hospital in 2017 but continued to work per diem at the Belknap County Nursing Home.

Tricia enjoyed volunteering her time at the Laconia soup kitchen and also at Thanksgiving time serving Turkey dinners at the local Community Center.

She loved reading, hiking, traveling with friends, "boot camp", biker week and her annual family vacations to Cape Cod, Ma. and Sebago Lake in Maine.

Most important to Trish were her many groups of friends, here love of a good time and her caring heart.

Tricia is survived by Christine Lucas and husband Richard of Kingston, MA, Jeanne Connell and husband Michael of Franklin, MA, Susan Britt and husband James of Portsmouth, RI, Pauline Amirault and husband John of Harwich, MA, Nancy Moriarty and husband Stephen of North Attleboro, MA, Robert Gabrick of West Thompson, VT and Lisa Gabrick of Roslindale, MA.

Tricia is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews, Gregory Connell of North Attleboro, MA, Emily Connell of Franklin, MA, Michael Britt of Revere, MA, Meredith Britt of North Attleboro, MA, Nevin Whalley and wife Maggie of Houston, TX, Bridget Moriarty of Los Angeles, CA, Abigail Moriarty of Boston, MA, Caroline Moriarty of Fitchburg, MA, and James and Isabella Gabrick of Roslindale, Ma.

SERVICES: A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday September 1st from 3 - 6pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 172 King St., Boscowen, NH 03303. September 21st a Mass of remembrance will be celebrated in Holy Name Parish, West Roxbury, MA begining at 11am. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that people make donations in Tricia's memory to a charity of their choosing.
