MARY GUIMOND

Manchester, NH--Mary Guimond died February 15, 2015, at Mt. Carmel Nursing Facility in Manchester with her family by her side following a brave fight with cancer.

She was born November 25, 1939 in Colver, PA to Daniel and Mary Jane (Williams) Keith. She was one of nine children born to the couple and was, until her passing, the last surviving sibling.

Mary joined the U.S. Air Force after graduating from high school. While serving in the military, she met and married the love of her life, Joseph, in 1960. They were together 52 loving years until he passed in November 2012.

Mrs. Guimond is survived by her four children, Daniel Guimond of Auburn, Joseph Guimond Jr., Marie (Guimond) King and her husband Timothy, Alison (Guimond) Stanley and her husband Thomas all of Manchester. She also leaves four grandchildren, Timothy King, Jr (currently living in China), Nathan and Mathew Guimond and Mary Jane Stanley, all of Manchester. She also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was retired from the VA Medical Center in Manchester, where she left with good friends and fond memories. Mary was a member of the Manchester Emblem club, serving as a past president. Mary enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, mystery novels and spending time with family and friends. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed desperately.

A Catholic mass will be held at St. Peter Church in Auburn Friday February 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Mary will be interred with her beloved Joe at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery 110 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen, NH with military honors and according to the wishes of Mary and Joe, it will be private.
