Mary Lou Emery

Marylou Emery, age 84, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2023, in Concord, New Hampshire. She was born on November 7, 1938, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Ashford.

Marylou, also known as Marylou Ashford, was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and for 67 years she was also the beloved wife of Albert Earl Emery, Jr. Marylou loved her family above everything and cherished her role as a mother. She leaves behind seven children: Albert, Cindy, Dean, Carolyn, Leroy, Dennis, and Kevin, along with their respective spouses.

Marylou's family expanded over the years, and she was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her free time, Marylou enjoyed her weekly outings with her lifelong friend, Louse. She had a passion for Elvis Presley's music and spent countless hours listening to his songs. Marylou also enjoyed playing Rumney and Bingo, and she never missed a chance to indulge in her favorite treats, such as chocolate Skybars and jelly cream donuts. Despite her declining eyesight in her later years, Marylou's sharp mind allowed her to know everything about everybody before they even knew it themselves. She cherished her phone conversations and used them as a way to keep in touch with her loved ones.

Marylou Emery will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished forever in their hearts.

A graveside committal service to honor and celebrate Marylou's life will be held at 10:00 AM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
