Mary Lou Powers

Mary Lou Powers (Miller) died on May 31, 2018 in Nashua New Hampshire. Formerly of Bedford, MA she was born in Arlington, MA on August 15, 1934. Mary Lou was the beloved wife for 65 years of Richard E. Powers. Mary Lou was the daughter of Frederick Miller and Suzanna (Chipman) Miller.
She graduated Lexington High School in 1953, and entered the workforce immediately. She had a successful career working as an administrator for M.I.T., Lambda Electronics and Pansophic Systems. After retirement she devoted many years volunteering at Nashua Senior Center.
Mary Lou was a loving mother to her daughter Jody and her husband Peter Capalbo of Cumberland, Rhode Island and son James Powers and his spouse Christine Carlson of Kittery, Maine. She adored her grandchildren Jamie and Corey Powers and Nicholas and Michael Capalbo. In addition to her children and grandchildren she is survived by her brother Arthur Miller of N Falmouth and her sister Margaret Bell Berman of Belmont and many cherished nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her sister Patricia Mckenzie and her brother Frederick Miller.
A celebration of life will be held at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, NH on September 23, 2018. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name can be made to Hospice Care at 7 Executive Park Drive Merrimack, NH 03054
