Mary Jane Mathieu

Mary Jane (Francis) Mathieu age 79 of Manchester passed on Monday March 17,2025 at her home. She was born in Manchester on December 9,1945 and was the daughter of Thomas Francis and Florence (Royer) Francis. She’s attended school in the city and was a graduate of Memorial High Scool.

Prior to her retirement she worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at CMC Hospital for 20+ years. Mary was an avid reader, she loved Elvis, going to bingo, collecting lighthouses and wind chimes but above all she loved her family and the time she spent with them.

Mary was pre deceased by the love of her life for 23 years John Peterson in 1987, then her partner of 17 years Robert (Bob) Jolley in 2006, her grandson Todd Mathieu in 2015, along with 5 sisters and 2 brothers over the years. 

Mary is survived by her 4 children Brian Mathieu of Manchester, Candie Petit and her husband Alexander of Manchester, Thomas Mathieu and his wife Betsy of Raymond, Marlene (Mimi) Garon of Amherst, her brother Michael Francis of Manchester, and her sisters Kathy Francis of Manchester, and Connie Place of Boscawen, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by all.
