Mary E. Nickerson

Mary E. Nickerson, 74, of Lilac Street in Penacook died on July 12, 2001 at Concord Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Nickerson was born on September 16, 1926 in Chatham, MA the daughter of the late Freeman and Emma (Eldridge) Phillips. Prior to retirement she had worked as a bank teller for Citizens Bank in Penacook for over 20 years. Family members include; three sons, David Nickerson, Sr. of Sanbornton, Wayne Nickerson of Loudon and Ralph Nickerson of Chichester; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Merrill Phillips of Mississippi and Allan Phillips of MA; and one sister, Flossie Durkee of Alabama. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 16th at 100 PM at the Chichester Methodist Church. A private burial will take place in Chatham, MA at the convenience of the family.
