Mary Capozzi Novella

Mary Phyllis Novella, 80, of Boscawen, New Hampshire died June 11, 2008 at Merrimack County Nursing Home. She was born October 16, 1927 in Philadelphia, a daughter of Dominic and Grace (Alberto) Capozzi. She was a homemaker, a substitute teacher, and then retired as an administrative assistant. She was an opera singer with the Lyric and Grand Opera companies in Philadelphia. In her spare time she enjoyed painting and sculpting. Survivors: a son, Jeffrey Novella of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, Judith Novella of Boulder, CO; a sister, Josephine Solidoro of Brookhaven, and a few nieces and nephews.
