Mary C. O'Dell

Mary C. (Houle) O'Dell, 80 of Manchester, NH, died peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Elliot Hospital, with her husband and brother at her side.
Mrs. O'Dell was born on December 24, 1937, in Manchester, NH the daughter of the late Eldon E. and Ruby O. (Harvey) Houle. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
She was the wife of Jerry O'Dell and was married on April 16, 1982, in Manchester.
Mrs. O'Dell was raised in Manchester and attended local schools. She had a long and distinguished career in retail sales and management with a number of well known local stores like J.M. Fields, Stuart's and Lechmere.
While the onset of COPD limited her activities over the last decade of her life, she enjoyed a full and busy life with family and friends. She enjoyed road trips with her husband and art.
Members of her family include; her husband, Jerry, her son Bill, stepsons, Dan, Tom and Shawn; five grandchildren, a sister, Ann Zaleski and brother David Houle, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. O'Dell was predeceased by her stepson, Michael and by five of her siblings.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Cremation Society of NH, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to the American Heart Association in memory of Mrs. O'Dell.
