Mary D. Toye

Mary Dorothy Toye (nee Doyle), 82, of Bristol, NH died August 2, 2008 at her home surrounded by her children. She was born December 18, 1925, in Avondale, Newfoundland, a daughter of Gregory and Angela (Griffen) Doyle. When Mary was 17, she came to America and settled in Boston, MA, where she met and married her husband, Charles Robert Toye on November 21, 1950. Before retiring to to New Hampshire, she lived in Reading, Mass. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Toye. She is survived by her three children, Rosemary (Rose), Charles and Robert Toye; two brothers, Melvin and Bob Doyle, and other relatives, most of them in Newfoundland. Funeral Liturgy will be Monday 1 o'clock in the chapel of Phaneuf Funeral Homes 243 Hanover Street, Manchester. A memorial gathering will begin after 12.
