Mary Helen Warren (Bunny Haire) Died peacefully, Friday February 10th, 2017 at Harmony Home in Durham NH, after a brief illness.

Prior to her recent move to Durham, Mary was lovingly cared for in Marlborough NH, by her daughter Julie. Mary was happy to be returning to the Durham area Having Graduated from UNH, with Bachelors degree in Business from, The Whitamore School, and Worked for Exeter Hospital as the Human Resources director she was instrumental in creating policy that initiated healthcare coverage for employees years ago. She was hoping that she would be able to see so many of her old friends and family. Unfortunately that was not to be.

Mary was. Born April 21, 1935 in Terra Haute, IN. She graduated from Chelmsford High School, Chelmsford Ma. She was very Proud to have been an Eastern Airline "stewardess," back when an 18" waist, a mid calf pencil skirt and 6" heels were required. She remained active in the silver liners through the end of her life, some of the friendships made there were lifelong. She completed her masters degree at Barry University.

Mary spent many years in the Palm Beach area working as the director of volunteers at St Mary's Hospital a job she loved. she had many wonderful friends in Florida and was able to take care of her mother, and be close to her brother and his family while living there.

Mary was pre-deceased by her beloved father, Hudson, who passed suddenly when Mary was just fifteen. Her Mother Marie Causer Warren in 2005 at the age of 96. Also there to greet Mary is her infant Granddaughter Sara, and So may Loved ones who have gone before.

She is survived by her "Baby" brother Hudson of California. Her brother Fred, many nieces and nephews, esp Hilary and Hudson who she thought of as her grandchildren. Her three daughters Gretchen & Howard Lister of Minnesota, Julie Oakes of Keene, NH, and Kate Gagne of Somersworth, NH. Her 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. There will be no service per her request. She will be buried next to her mother in Elmira NY in the spring. No flowers please. If desired donations may be made to cornerstone Hospice Rochester, NH, who provided loving care and support at the end of her life. Or as a life long pet lover, she would appreciate a donation to your favorite animal shelter.
