Maryrose Theresa (Gerry) Arsenault went home to our Lord and Savior, Jesus, on the 26th of November, 2024.
She was born on the 20th of November, 1949, in Lawrence, Massachusetts to parents Joseph E. and Mary (Pinell) Gerry.
In 1977, she moved her family to Derry, NH, where her roots became firmly planted.
She was known as “Mary” to most who knew her but her 2nd born granddaughter began calling her “Ama” at an early age and that name was soon used by all her loved ones.
Maryrose was an amazing, creative, courageous, giving, honest and hardworking person. She was an avid reader, loved crafting with beads, embroidery, and crochet; always having a project going. She enjoyed nature and the warmth of summer, spending hours outside or sitting in front of a camp fire.
She was truly loved as a grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her prescense will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother in 1993, and her father, a WWII Army Veteran, in 1997.
She is survived by two daughters, Laurie J. Foster of Virginia, and Lisa Marie Morin and her husband Christopher of Derry, NH. Also her grandchildren; Laurie’s daughter, Amanda Hone of Texas, and Lisa’s daughter, Micah Rose Arsenault and her fiancé William Rowe, and Lisa’s son, Nicholas Arsenault, all of Derry, NH.
SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A private Celebration of Life will be held in the summer.
