Maurice E Chasse

Maurice Eugene Chasse, aka Big Moe, passed away peacefully on November 5th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 4th, 1934, Maurice lived out his 87 years with simplicity, humor and humbleness. He chose to serve his country from 1953-1956, earning the rank of Sargent in the US Army.

Moe married the love of his life in 1968 and spent the following 53 years building a life, a family, and a circle of friends he loved more than anything.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Jeanne (Rivard) Chasse of Merrimack, NH, daughters, Valerie Susan Chasse Guerette and her husband Scott Guerette of Weare, NH, and Brenda Jill Chasse of Merrimack, NH, along with many nieces and nephews and several close friends who he considered family.

A private service will be held at the NH Veteran’s Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 27th at the Nashua Elks Lodge #720, 12 Murphy Dr., Nashua, NH from 1pm to 5pm.
