Maurice Gerow III, age 23, Deerfield, NH died as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on August 28, 2016.
Most people would now just think of what a tragedy this is. Our loss is monumental, but Moe would rather you think about your favorite times with him, for there were many.
Moe was born on April 14, 1993. He was son to Maurice & Pam Gerow, brother to Stephanie and "Uncle Moe" to Seth.
Family and friends will smile as we think of his outgoing, generous personality, strong hugs and infectious laugh. We remember hiking and camping with him and many laughs while playing horseshoes or sharing a beer.
We proudly watched him graduate from Concord High School and when he received his Boy Scout Eagle Rank. After completing a Confirmation class, we witnessed Moe become a member of Deerfield Community Church where he had attended Sunday School.
Moe had a strong work ethic. A manager at Epsom Circle Store, he raised the bar for service and created a welcome atmosphere that customers responded to.
Moe was loved by a large family including his parents, Maurice Gerow II and Pamela Hackney Gerow, sister Stephanie Gerow, nephew Seth, grandmother Edwina Gerow Hunnings and grandfather Robert Hackney, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Arrangements: We will say our good-byes and celebrate his life Saturday, September 3rd, 10-11 AM at Deerfield Community Church, Deerfield, NH, followed by a graveside service at Pineground Cemetery in Chichester and a gathering for all at Moe's home shortly thereafter. Memorial donations may be made to Deerfield Community Church, PO Box 420, Deerfield NH 03037, please write "MOE" on your check. Celebrating Moe's love of the outdoors, funds will go toward creating a children's playground.
