Maurice D. Groulx, 81, passed on Monday January 9, 2017 at CMC Hospital, in Manchester, NH. He was born on July 2, 1935 in Manchester. He was the son of the late Rene and Cecile Groulx.
He was predeceased by his wife Ellen Groulx, of 44 years.
He attended Manchester schools before going to serve in the Army. He loved to work. He was employed at Preview Products as well as Felton Brush, ending his career working as a maintenance man at several locations.
He had a passion for camping, bowling, building things, helping others, and just about anything that would keep him busy. He enjoyed life and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by daughters Betty Campbell and her husband Stan, Evelyn Gaynor and her husband Robert, his son, Maurice Groulx and his wife Sharmian, his sisters Yvonne Bossi and Irene Spore, and his brother Aime Groulx. He leaves behind grandchildren Angela, Craig, Lindsey, Maurice, Olivia, Kristi and Robert III, as well as great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at The Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH, on Friday, January 13th from 9 AM to 11 AM. Services will be followed by a graveside committal at 12 PM, at The New Hampshire National Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
