Maurice A. Prunier, 85, lifelong resident of Nashua, NH died on September 30, 2000. He was born on October 17, 1915 , the son of the late Frederick and Aurore (Riendeau) Prunier. Maurice was predeceased by a son, Richard M. Prunier. Maurice worked at Johns-Manville Corp. in Nashua for forty-five years. He was a Chief Electrician. He was a member of the Elks Lodge #720 of Nashua and Johns-Manville Quarter Century Club. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association, the United Mine Workers' Local #13012- Johns-Manville, a past member of the Lone Pine Hunters' Club and a member of the former Guarde Rochambeau. Besides his wife of 63 years, Phyllis (Goodhue) Prunier, survivors include 2 sons and their wives, Paul A. and Kathleen Prunier and David R. and Hazel Prunier, all of Nashua; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet L. And Edward O. Leduc Sr., of Manchester; nine grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church in Nashua.
