Maxwell A. Reid

Maxwell A. Reid, 90, of Epsom Manor and formerly of Penacook, died September 5, 2002 at Concrod Hospital after a period of declining health. Mr. Reid was born on September 30, 1911 in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was the son of the late Charles and Lillian (Adams) Reid. He was raised in New Hampshire and attended school in Epsom and Pittsfield. In his younger years he was involved in agriculture and later worked as a leather craftsman for Pellissier's Leather Shop. Mr. Reid was a U S Army Veteran who served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II. He was the last of several siblings and leaves behind many nieces and nephews including, Timothy Reid of Epsom, NH, Marcia Winslow of Raleigh, NC and Roger Reid of Hopkinton, NH. Burial will take place at a later date at Boscawen State Veteran Cemetery.
