CELEBRATING MICAH ARIEL KINDRED'S LIFE AND ALL THE JOY SHE SHARED WITH US
Please join us by posting your thoughts, memories and pictures of your favorite times with Micah in the album below.
Dearest Micah,
You brought so much delight to our lives from the day you were born on October 21, 1992 until your last on January 22, 2024. You were beautiful on both the inside and out. Your genuine smile always warmed our hearts and your generous hugs never failed to lift our spirits. You were a smart, talented and creative young woman, a dedicated and hard worker. You were compassionate and eager to help others before yourself. You had a strong sense of justice and a deep well of feeling. Your sense of humor and turn of phase could make ordinary, annoying or embarrassing events into bouts of laughter.
Over the years you have accomplished many goals and we are so proud of you! For example, in the fourth grade, you read well over one hundred books in order to win a contest to "go to the moon and back." It was the beginning of your constant love of reading and listening to books on tape on our road trips and while working. We loved discussing the merits of books and movies with you. (Lord of the Rings still rules, but the new Dune is a contender.) You completed an LNA course and received your Associates degree in Accounting.
You impressed us at an early age by caring for a Japanese fighting fish named "Ping" for many years. You also rescued not one, but two kitties, Bagheera and Inky.
You enjoyed lots of different activities from gymnastics and swimming to years of karate and ice hockey, then running and hiking. (even hot yoga with Dad - crazy!)
You could sing and act and took a modeling class. You were a talented writer and storyteller. Your artwork is amazing and inspiring and it was your favorite creative outlet. Your drawings will always be our treasures.
Oh, Babe, words cannot express how much we will miss you and how you enriched and blessed our lives. But we will hold you close with these memories and many more until we see you again.
With all our love, "Olive Juice," Mom and Dad and Ash
We believe this is not the end for Micah, only the beginning of far better things for her. We look forward to being reunited with her and all our loved ones who have gone before us.
