Michael Bohunsky

Michael Bohunsky passed away peacefully on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Born on May 7, 1951 in Owosso, Michigan, he is the son of the late Carl and Pearl Bohunksy.

Michael was strong willed, had a huge heart and a wonderful sense of humor. Michael was loved by all and he will be missed dearly. 

Michael is survived by his beloved dog Kuna, who was fostered to the most loving caring person Janice Brown, brother Ron Bohunsky, sister Linda Moorhead, nieces and nephews, friends and the Portsmouth Music Hall Family. 

Mike loved being a part of the Music Hall and was involved in many aspects of it through the years. Don’t be surprised if he returns to meddle in the rafters!

Thank you to everyone for your kind messages, thoughts and prayers. Michael did not want services and we will honor his request. In lieu of flowers and again in honor of Michael, live life to your fullest. 

We hope that Michael’s spirit is now released and he is free to embrace all of his dreams. May peace be with you.
