Michael Christopher Boutwell, 48, passed away at his home in Hooksett, NH surrounded by his family on July 4th, 2016 after a 15-month battle with leiyomosarcoma.
He was a beloved father, husband, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Catherine (Turney) Boutwell, his daughters, Nicole Boutwell, 27, and Danielle Boutwell, 22. His three girls were his pride and joy.
Michael was born December 25, 1967 in Peterborough, NH to David C Boutwell Sr, and Shirley A (Murby) Boutwell. He is also survived by siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He grew up in Peterborough where he met his wife at ConVal Regional High School, and later married on October 22, 1988. Michael spent his working years in construction and leaves behind many loyal customers whose homes he left his mark of extraordinary craftsmanship, including his family home that he built in 2006. Above all else, Michael's favorite job was raising his two daughters. He was enamored with their accomplishments throughout school and through college.
Michael is remembered for his kindness, generosity, gentleness, and love for his family. He was hardworking and selfless; he was an example of unconditional love. He was an avid Red Sox fan and lover of the ocean.
There will be a celebration of life open house hosted by his family at New England's Tap House Grill in Hooksett, NH from 1pm-5pm on Saturday July 9th for all who wish to come together to remember him.
