Michael J. Calnan

Michael J. Calnan Jr., 91, of Webster, NH died December 16, 2022, following a very brief period of declining health.

Michael was born in NYC February 20, 1931, to Michael and Lillian (Bluto) Calnan. He attended St. John’s High School in Concord and enlisted in the US Army following graduation. He served 4 years in the regular Army and an additional 16 years in the reserves. He worked for USPS and retired after more than 20 years of dedicated service.

Michael enjoyed an active social life and could often be found at the Elks Lodge, the VFW, American Legion, or Eagles Club. He attended daily Mass at St. John’s and stayed up to date on current and world affairs.

In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his three sisters, Eileen Gelsone, Anne Tenney, and Mary Loukedes. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, all of whom adored him.
