Michael F. Corey

Michael F. Corey, 48, died unexpectedly on July 2, 2023 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born on September 28, 1974 to Rose Marie Day and Stephen Ross Corey, Sr.

Michael was predeceased by his father, Stephen Corey, Sr., his mother, Rose Day, and his son, Tyler M. Corey. He is survived by his girlfriend, Lori Gibbs; daughter, Emmaline A. Corey; brothers, Stephen R. Corey, Jr. and Jason Day; step-brother, Ray Johnson; sister, Tracey Day; his grandchildren, Autumn M. Corey an Dominic T. Corey;  and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Michael grew up in the Concord, NH area and was happiest when he was outdoors enjoying nature or 4-wheeling. He loved being on the water (even if it was frozen). No matter the season, Michael could always be found with a fishing pole in-hand. It was one of his greatest passions that he especially enjoyed sharing with his children, Tyler and Emma. He was a good friend to many, and was always ready to lend a helping hand, or repair your broken lawn mower. Michael will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

SERVICES: A celebration of life will be held at 48 Airport Road, Concord, NH on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 11am to 2pm.
